Ah, you asked a question i asked last week...I didn't get a good answer either...but it's interesting to think about isnt it? and where does space end?

If our Earth is located in space then space is located in our Universe.

our universe is 4 dimensional, to put it simply a weave of 3 parts space and one part time. meaning 3 dimensional objects and and time. a 10 dimensional universe would be 6 dimensional objects and 4 directions of time.space, as we know it is part of the 4 dimensional universe. Which is just a layer of the actually space time continuum.

The whole solar system we are in is called 'The Milky way'. The vast expanse in which all planets that rotate around the Sun in the solar system with all stars is the Univeerse. Hence the space where the solar system is in, is our galaxy. There are many galaxies.

nice question....but this does not have a definite and conclusive answer....well i'll try and explain to u my opinion of it......imagine space as something converging into itself.....a single dimensional structure....like in the movie matrix remember the trainman scene?? as soon as u reach the end u start from the beginning.....to make this a visually comprehensible topic.....take a strip of paper....rectangular in shape....now join the two smaller edges...together to get somewhat a circular stuff.....or a very small cylinder.....now this cylinder has two surfaces.....one at the inside and the other at the outside.....now twist one of the edges 180degrees and then join the edges....now trace the path on it's surface....u'll end up exactly where u started from....u'll get what seems to be something like a singular surface object.... :) is it not amazing....think of space as something like it...:D...

PS: stephen hawkings is a gr8 thinker...and u need not know physics in depth to answer brilliant questions such as these....u just need to think and think and experience a lot....

Space is in the 11th dimension. Stephen Hawking is okay, but he also is the one who invented the Time conservation constant...only to retract it. Google M-Thoery for starters

Space is nothing. Space is what everything is in. You cannot put nothing in something.

sounds like a question that a "spaced out" person would ask...
