The Mayan calendar ends in December of 2012, and according to Mayan prophecy, the objects of technology will turn against the human race and destroy the world.
What are those objects of technology? Who knows? But I suspect we have a few lying around that will do the job.

Nothing will happen in the year 2012. Dont you ever wonder about these things? Why do even bother to ask. However, Newton calculated the end of the world and that is 2060

well all i ca say is that the mayans beleived that on sunday december 23 2012 the earth wouldn meet its end from a power in the skies.
i don t think it will happen but i do think it would be pretty awesome to experience even if i did die. o well......

Probably nothing spectacular. No one except God knows exactly when the world will end. Dont buy into those superstitious predictions.
