I'm going on vacation but the weather in the northeast is cramping my tan style. Has anyone tried any good self tanners that don't streak? I always seem to end up with streaks when I use self tanner.

It's not the tanner itself but the method of application. Don't try to put it on when you are in a hurry. You have to take time and be careful that you are applying it evenly. You should shave and exfoliate first all areas you want to apply it. Next you need to moisturize so you don't have any dry patches that are going to soak up all the product and turn orange. Next you want to apply it very liberally and carefully. Rub it in in a circular motion. I usually will keep rubbing it in even if it feels like it's all absorbed just to be sure I'm not missing any spots. Then you should moisturize again over it. That way you are sure to have it all evenly covered. Be sure to wash your hands immediately afterward to avoid orange palms. Then don't get dressed for at least 30 minutes afterward to avoid any of it rubbing off on your clothes. I use this method every time and I never streak. As for color, I think Clarins has the best but it's pretty light and requires several applications. Dior's is pretty good too and has darker color after only one application, especially if you have a darker complexion. I've heard neutrogena is good but I've never tried it.

Follow these guidlines and you will be streak free. It's a lot of steps but taking your time will result in a streak free tan. =)
I prefer the Loreal brands

Supplies needed a , fan and a foam paint brush, a good friend is helpfull or a sponge back scrubber

1. Shower, shave and use a body scrub all over.
2. Pat your self dry and apply a good non greasy lotion
3. Allow the lotion to dry and absorb
4. Start on your leg Apply the self tanner all over your legs avoiding the ankles, feet and knees. Imagine you have socks on and stop at that point. Do one leg at a time.
5. Wash your hands with soap and water.
6. With the foam brush in a sweeping motion go over your ankles and knees. This will blend the tanner you applied
7. Wash your hands again.
8. Repeat the steps on your leg including the hand washing.
9. Apply to your belly, sides, back and booty. This is were a good friend comes in handy but you can use a sponge back brush to apply.
10. Just rub long enought to blend don't over do it
11. Yep wash your hands again.
12. For your face and neck apply 1/2 tanner and 1/2 lotion mix.
Use the foam brush to apply and blend. Pull your hair up and out of the way. Don't forget the back of your neck and blend into your ears.
13. Wash the hands again
14. Apply to your arms making sure to get all sides. Avoid the elbows and hands. Stop at your wrist.
15. Gently wash your hands make sure not to splash onto your finished arms.
16. Take the foam brush and blend at our wrist towards the top of your arm
17. Stay naked and stand in front of a fan turning every so often.
If you can stay naked for 30-40 minutes and then put on lose dark fitting clothes.

Do this at night and sleep on old sheets. In the morning take a bath and check for streaks. If you have an obvious dark spot. Take the Mr. Clean magic earser to the area BUT rub very carefully.

Admire your new tan

I have tried lots of different kinds..$45 ones to $5 ones..and the best I've found is Loreal Paris Sublime Bronze Self-tanning gelee streak-free. It is medium-deep. It isn't expensive and works the best. I found it at Walmart and it has lasted me a long time.

ok in case your doing it your self the first element to do is exfoliate. this can help you get a good color. in case you do not do this any patches of even somewhat dry skin will look darker. next use gloves or your palms and nails receives hella stained. then about 30 earlier you be conscious the product moisturize your skin with a mild lotion(no longer something too heavy) this can help in spite of product you employ to blend better once you position it on. after that it truly relies upon on what product your utilizing. Aveda has a strong one observed as solar source. yet what ever you do blending is the major ascertain you spread it calmly, it would even help to have a buddy come over to envision the elements you cant attain. strong success !!!!! and characteristic interesting with your glow.

One of the better ones that my girlfriend uses is Clarins and they come in the form of wipes, you can find them at Macy's or Filene's.
