I love landing at SFO, especially if you land on a nice day when you can see all of the Bay waters as you descend. It's also pretty at night when you see all the lights of the City, the Bay Area and various bridges. SFO airport itself is a nice one, a good variety of restaurants and shops.
But one of the best reasons why I like landing at SFO is because I know that I am home - that's the best feeling!

Like landing at pretty much any other airport in the US. I was there a few years ago but I don't remember much about it - it was pretty unremarkable. Unless you're new to flying, in which case landing at any airport can be a cool experience.

i flew to san francisco's international airport by my self and it was the best thing in the world looking down and seeing the airport get closer and closer and then touching down.. I love to fly better then driving .... have fun if you go

It's absolutely terrifying. You come in over the water, and it's REALLY steep and you think the plane is going to crash. At the last minute, the plane hits the runway and usually skids a lot, since it's so foggy all the time and the pilot can't see anything.

A little intimidating. You literally are gliding just several feet above the ocean water before touching down on the runway.
