might want to check the laws that govern the area of the event. Most laws that I know of the statute of limitations begin from the discovery or when the event or suspected crime was first realized. That is when the clock starts clicking in the purpetrators defense. Now that you know the time is running against you so it is not wise to delay your efforts on Yahoo you need to seek legal assistance and persue a fix if that is your desire.

No you probably can't since there is a statue of limitations on most things but to be sure, I would contact a lawyer and find out. But if she is still your wife and you get her into trouble with the law, then she probably won't be your wife for long!

Im not sure how it works in Ireland but in the US if after 7 yrs. you cant do anything. But call a lawyer and ask :)
