how old are they? Boys or girls? My daughter is 9 and we love the Cheesecake Factory. Nashville Shores is a good water park. OpryMills is a good mall with an IMAX theatre. Opryland Hotel is beautiful to walk around in it has magnificent waterfalls and usually has something going on there. The Nashville Sounds is a minor league team if you like baseball. Dollywood was mentioned by several people, but it is in Pigeon Forge which is 4 or 5 hours away. I would advise you to pick up a Nashville Parent magazine when you get here at any Toys R Us or the major restaurant chains like Outback or Logans and it will have a calendar in the back with all listings of what is going on by the day so you won't miss a thing.... Have fun.. The General Jackson is a river boat cruise that is fun also.

There are alot of places to go, for one there is a water park outside of Nashville that is really fun alot of slides and such. There is an Egyptian exhibit in Nashville at the frisk center along with a children's art exploration exhibit. There is also a children's science museum that is great fun for everyone, it has a planetarium and a learning playground that is 4 stories high :) There are IMAX theaters with 3D movies, plenty of parks, horse and buggy rides in the city and many more, I hope you enjoy your stay.

Don't forget the Grand Ol' Opry. And at Opry Mills there is a restaurant called The Aquarium. You get to sit in the middle of a huge aquarium and watch fish while you eat.
