Well he got us to invade a country for no real reason. He got us to accept creating a huge defecit so that he could give unneeded large tax cuts to his rich friends. He is destroying our country and we are letting him. So while I believe that he is mentally challenged we are the stupid ones.

Not only dumb, but stupid. The man behind the scenes who's pulling the strings is Karl Rove and Bush is just his puppet. If it wasn't for his father he wouldn't have gotten into Yale and graduated (barely). Bush is the only person I can think of who took an IQ test and failed it. Hopefully, there will be something left of the United States and it won't be totally bankrupt when he leaves office. Can we survive another 2 1/2 years of this bozo? He's without a doubt, the worst president in history and there have been some that were really bad. Just hope the Democrats can win in '08 and get the country back on track - and that includes bringing the troops home from a no-win war in Iraq that should never have started in the first place.

I'm no fan of GW Bush or his administration, but this is harder to answer than I thought it would be. Either:

1) He's not dumb. The guy has used his Presidency to rake in billions in no-bid contracts and tax breaks for his buddies. No matter how you feel about the war, Halliburton, etc. are making a mint off the taxpayer. The contracts are largely granted without competition, and there's little oversight, so if the companies don't actually provide what they're paid to provide, they get away with it. The tax code is turning into "the GW Bush Financial Aid Program for Billionaires." If you're a high-money Bush supporter, you've gotten more than your money's worth.

Even so, lots of people continue to support the man and want to believe he's a good person and a good President. Many voted for him twice.

He may not be a genius. but he might very well be the canniest President we've had. Nixon almost got impeached for less than Bush has done, and is still the subject of "Tricky Dick" jokes after his death. A lot of people seem to feel Bush is the brother who always mucks things up, but means well. Bush has the sense to hire oceans of spin doctors and image people (and co-opts government agencies to sell his point of view, even to editing scientific documents so they say what Bush wants them to say, even if it's in opposition to the scientific evidence). If he's actually in charge of his administration, he's playing the system like the smartest con man ever.

2) He's as dumb as a stump. The other possibility is that he's so shortsighted that he can't understand how he's bankrupting the country and destroying the American way of life, that he's so focused on what benefits his buddies that he can't see the bigger picture.

I really don't know the answer to this one - he's either very smart, or very stupid, or some combination of the two.

Like a fox. Can you pronounce every work in the English language, especially those relating to medications???? He is dumb like General Eisenhower, President Truman, Abe Lincoln etc. President Bush is a humanitarian and cares about the people of the rest of this planet, and has tried to do something about it. It would have been real easy to not get involved and stay in your own shell, wondering about the ozone, or global warming, but this man took a bold step to stop the genocide in Iraq. My hats off to him>Probably the answers to this question will reflect the way liberals and conservatives think, if liberals think at all.

Is George dumb or are some of the American people shocked that there is someone this aggressive in office. We are used to seeing public people hide behind their questions instead of answering them. It doesn't matter if it's the answer we want to hear or not. I don't always agree with Bush but I do respect him.

George Bush is no humanitarian, nor is he dedicated to the American people. He is only dedicated to the all-mighty dollar and his oil cronies. He has utter disregard for the average person, the U.S. Constitution and the system of checks & balances.

As for the "dumb" question, he didn't have the greatest grades in college. If he's bright, then I'm a supernova, lol.

No, but naive. One of G.W. Bush's henchmen or women is a mole. Not a mole for any other country, but a seriously ill, and self destructive person and is on a destructive path to take America down with them.

I believe it is Cheney! Possibly because of his bad health, and wants all other Americans to suffer with him. I really can't choose which one is the mole, however, I have decerned this is the only reason for such a cavalier attack on a sovereign nation, already beaten down and has become a martyr by the majority of the citizens around the globe. Causing America to become the beast in most of their minds. A really educated and intelligent leader would have forseen this. I believe that intelligent but ill person is Cheney. I believe he is charming and has an air or aurora when talking one on one and has a hold on G.W. Bush and the U.S. Supreme Court or some of it's members. Using practical money making coarsements.

Shall we put this question to a vote? Before voting, consider the following remarks made by our "brillaint" president:

"Ariel Sharon of Israel is a Man of Peace"

"General Musharraf of Pakistan is a Democrat"

"The inhabitants of Greece are the Grecians"

"The French don't have a word for 'Entrepreneur'"

"The vast majority of our imports come from outside the country."

“If we don't succeed, we run the risk of failure."

"I have made good judgments in the past. I have made good judgments in the future."

"The future will be better tomorrow."

"We're going to have the best educated American people in the world."

"I stand by all the misstatements that I've made."

"We have a firm commitment to NATO, we are a part of NATO. We have a firm commitment to Europe. We are a part of Europe."

"A low voter turnout is an indication of fewer people going to the polls."

"For NASA, space is still a high priority."

"Quite frankly, teachers are the only profession that teach our children."

"It isn't pollution that's harming the environment. It's the impurities in our air and water that are doing it."

“It's time for the human race to enter the solar system."

Did I leave any out?

Old George is not the brightest bulb in the pack, but he seems certainly cunning enough. His eyes have something of a ferral quality, and when he speaks they seem to shift away from direct contact with those he may be addressing.Sliding greasily off to one side or the other. This gives me the distinct impression that he is living a lie.He seems so transparantly inscincere i find it very plausible that the presidency could have been stolen last election.
It is a relief to me that he cant run again................
