What I mean is, basically, should a scientist keep away his/her invention, just because he feels it may cause mayham in the world?To what extent is he responsible for his/her discovery?Is the world ready for all the discoveries made today, or is science not ready for the world?

A scientist's discovery could be used for the benefit of humanity or for the harm of humanity. Do we sacrifice the benefit because of the possible harm? It is a question society needs to answer. The discovery has no intrinsic right or wrong.
