Are there any cool bars in Orlando? I am going to visit there this week.?

Pleasure Island is owned and operated by Disney.. It is located adjacent to Downtown Disney, and is a collection of bars, and nightclubs, and other forms of adult oriented entertainment. A personal fav is the comedy club, where you can get blasted, *and* laugh your butt off at the dumb stuff they come up with. The downside is there is like a $28 cover charge to get into PI, but once inside all the clubs are free, but you pay Disney prices for drinks.

Also in orlando if you are into comedy-type clubs is the improv at church street station in Downtown Orlando. and if you proceed up church street to orange ave, about 2 blocks is a group of pretty cool nightclubs and bars in that area that seem to keep changing names. I believe one is still called "Chillers".

Also, if you ask a local, and they direct you to a place called the "Parliament House" take notice that it is a very famous gay bar. Many locals get a kick out of sending out-of-towners there.(and if you do want to find it, it is located on North Orange Blossom Trail.)

I think Pleasure Island is supposed to be some "hot spot" down there. It might be like a sub-category of Disney World, but my sister went & said it was an awesome club.
