You're assuming the Bible tale of Adam and Eve is the only version in existence. Wouldn't it be great to rise them from the dead and ask them, right?
A more pressing question to answer would be whether you can live in ignorance...but ignorance of what? Say you go to your doctor and he tells you that your test results show a certain dangerous illness that may not be cured but could be managed, yet it would change your life. Wouldn't you like to know?
If ignorance is bliss, it's just a matter of time until we face reality (i.e. the truth of the situation). Then we can choose to feel blissful or thankful.

First of all: Ask yourself this: were Adam and Eve to live in paradise, do you think they would know they lived there?! They would stay happy, true, but would they actually recognize happiness for what it was or would they just think this was the way things were supposed to be?
Second of all: is knowledge really just the discovery that you are physically naked, or is it the discovery that you are emotionally naked? What I basically mean, a human soul forms by going through sorrows and joys, maybe that is why it came to sin in the first place. God is loving, forgiving, but God is also just and angry(sometimes), he is good and bad, for all the good he had given them, it was their choice to take the road of both good and bad, so basically, did they not choose him?

Reading your question/theory.... There seems to be several flaws in it.
Both Adam and Eve were supposed to be "Perfect"! Therefore, if that's the case they would not have been "ignorant", would not have been "tempted" nor lied to or have been capable of making a mistake (regardless of free will), as well as there not being a NEED for them to "obey". "Perfection" means "without flaw" does it not???? One of two options there.... either they were NOT perfect OR the story is false.
Taking it a step further.... "God" created ALL things correct? He also is the "beginning and end", the "alpha and omega" etc etc etc... Therefore, before he created Lucifer he KNEW ahead of time what would transpire.... Now, why would an entity knowingly create a situation where it KNOWS countless forms of mistakes will be made and suffering in countless forms will be the end result of those mistakes????
Regardless of which answer one may choose for THAT question, its painfully obvious there were VAST amounts of "knowledge" involved... Look what happened with it! LOL
To answer your question: Neither, I would prefer "Wisdom".

Ignorance is not bliss, it is subservience and tyranny. I would never want myself to be a mindless slave, even if it meant I couldn't think about my situation. I would much rather be my own man with knowledge, even if it means I might be unhappy, because one can never be truly happy unless he makes himself so.
Take a child; do presents make him happy? No, he gets bored after a while. Does anything you give him help, other than temporarily? Nope, sorry Santa. What makes one happy is a sense of accomplishment; only the free are able to accomplish anything on their own to become truly happy.
Knowledge is liberating, and therefore the only true path to freedom, accomplishment, and happiness, even if it's rife with risk. Ignorance is bliss only in the sense that you don't know any better.

Ignorance or knowledge doesn't make a difference.
In Adam's and Eve's case i think if they had the knowledge about the apples they would have still ate the apple.
After all God tells us not to sin , but yet most sin everyday.

Before the situation in the United States, where the World Trade Center was taken down on September 11, 2001, I thought that we were safe. This was a serious wake-up call for me. I prefer to live in a world of knowledge instead of being kept in the dark. I have always treated others in the same way that I wished to be treated. My parents taught me this way of thinking. I am very satisfied with it. Know this, "God daily loadeth us with benefits." - Psalm 68:19. Remember, "If God be for us, who can be against us?" - Romans 8:31. Peace and God Bless.

sometimes it can be bliss.. at other times it can be dangerous. Say u didn't know that a moving train will eventually hit you if you are on its way, then perhaps it will really hit u if u still stay there because of ignorance and then u wudn't be alive any more.
in knowledge is better since now atleast u may have enough knowledge to deal with the situation.

Knowledge any knowledge offering two sides demanding to take a side...that creates an opposite to oppose...drama
Ignorance divided creates two units known as innocence and foolishness
innocence represents again naivety (other side of ignorance)and impeccable sincerity( other side of foolishness or following stupidity) We cannot call innocence a foolishness, for innocence not knowing what fool knows. Difference between innocence and foolishness is that innocence does not know that it knows, and foolishness does not know that it does not know..it thinks it knows. That makes a fool entitled to be a fool, is that what he think he knows. Now , at least now we may deliberate choosing. There is more on that much more...
