Yes but Sammy Terry isn't a Vampire though...actually he calls himself a "Ghoul". I have met him twice actually. He does special appearances around Halloween time here in Indianapolis. A living History museum called Conner Prairie transforms into Sleepy Hollow every year in October and they have hayrides where you encounter the Headless Horseman. They also have Barn dancing, story telling and other Sleepy Hollow-type activities. The highlight of the event for the past two years has been a special appearance by Sammy Terry. He told scary stories and posed for pictures and gave autographs to EVERYONE who wanted one. He stayed out late on a chilly fall night until everyone who wanted to meet him had the oportunity to do so. He is a true gentleman and still as SPOOKY as ever. If anything, the years have added to his ghoulish persona..his haunting laugh is deeper and creepier. Sammy Terry is an Indiana Treasure.

I have never met him personally, but several people I know have. He and his wife Janie - the infamous 70's morning host of the kids popular show "Janie" - are from Indianapolis. He is really a great guy, and looks normal apart from the outrageous makeup. Are you from Indianapolis?
