High school courses required include English, Math, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
Look at specific universities for requirements and recommended subjects of study for this career.
Generally speaking you will need a 4 year bachelor of science degree in pharmacology.

Chemistry and Biology would be good to start. You can look into Pharmacology as well.
