im a 13 year old girl on my cuz' q's thing. i am 50 pounds overweight and so are alot of people that live in my area. how can we loose it befor school starts? our school starts in 1 month and a half. any tips?

Diet and exercise are the most important. You need to stay away from things like pasta and sugar, eat more fruits, vegetables, and other no fat foods (dont' stop eating, and definately don't count carbs, crash diets like that will only cause you to be anorexic), and exercise like crazy. Go for a daily bike ride that is an hour or so long. And don't go light either. Push yourself as hard as you can for that bike ride. Ride so hard and so much, that when you get home your legs are stiff and it's wierd to walk (at this point, you NEED to walk around the block a couple times till your legs dont' feel like rubber). Go for a bike ride one day, and go for a run the next. Also, do push ups and sit ups. For a girl your age, 10 - 15 sit ups and 8 - 12 push ups are the usual, but dont' be afraid to push yourself.

When I was 13 i went through the same thing.I took it one step at a time. First, I stopped eating after 7:00. Many people don't realize how eating after this time does not allow their body to digest in time before they go to bed. If you do that first I swear you'll already begin to see a change. After that, start drinking LOTS of water. I also reccommend organic foods which you can even find in publix under the "Greenwise" section. start exercising for at least one hour a day. You should do it 5 times a week. I usually take the weekends off and go Mon-Fri. If you like sports great. Go to a park and have fun playing. You can even go walking. Remember, quantity matters most. I can't guarantee that you'll loose all 50 pounds by your desired date, however, this is the HEALTHY approach. I hope that you reach your goal. good luck!

exercise,exercise,exercise! you and your friends get together 3-4 times a week and walk as fast as you can compfortably. work your self up to 30 to 45 mins a day longer if ya want. maybe not in the beginning try a few days at 15 mins or so and work into longer and drinks lots of water daily no soft drinks. treat yourself to one but preferrably diet like diet 7-up or diet rite. 3 balanced meals a day never skip a meal thinking it will help it wont. 3 snacks in between each meal healthy snacks lite yougurt,string cheese and crackers, microwave popcorn,fruits, cearel no sugar added or very little sugar, stay away from foods with sugar and carbs and fats if you watch what you eat and keep it at not overeating and exercise you will do great let me know how you do i will be waiting good luck! you can do it. bye, lanay anytime you need encouragement email me ive been through this same problem.

I hope you get to your desired shape. Trust me I'm not that small my self. lol I make goals for myself. I would walk two miles everynight on the beach. *Night time is cooler than during the day.

drink lots and lots of water! do fast food or anything where one of the top 2 ingredients are sugar or corn syrup that should help alot!

excercise and watch what you eat. Eat lots of veggies and protein, cut out sugar, like sodas, sweets, etc. go jogging or play sports, swim, keep active, don't just stay indise and watch tv and munch- good luck.

ps. don't get discouraged if it doesn't happen right away, it takes time.

running, eat less(don't starve yourself), jog (were like a sweater no matter how think it is you'll sweat off more pounds), get a friend and play outside, go to the gym. GOOOD LUUUCK!

OK EAT BUT EAT VESTABLES CUT ALL THE SWEETS OUT AN RUN OR JOG MORNING AND NITE AND CRUNCHES MORE YOU DO IN MORNING YOU WILL BE AMASED WORKED FOR ME 20 LB IN 1WEEK AND 6 DAYES BUT I RUN TRACK AND A PRO CHEER/DANCER SO DO IT AND EAT RIGHT DO IT GIRL
