Make sure u are offline, then click Control Panel, select Add/Remove programs. Click on Norton & remove it. But have the alternative u are going 2 install ready, preferably on a CD because if u remove this version & go online even 2 download another version, about a thousand viruses will attack your computer before u have downloaded the new one. In any case Norton 1995 is seriously outdated & isnt protecting your computer against any of the new viruses. If u dont want 2 spend any money get a free antivirus program (Avast is great) but get rid of Norton 1995.

You have to go in-to your computer tower, and then reset the chip that has the password in it. It's pretty simple. Gently remove it and then place it back to it's original place. When your computer re-boots you can set your new password.

If your are not familiar with the inside of your tower or don't have the computer manual to guide you through this, I would use caution doing this. It is impossible for anyone to help you trying to figure out the computer password, so try this first. Other than this, it's the only thing that I can think of right now.

if it's really your computer, then there are ways to reset the admin password.
Things like the "trinity rescue", "austrumi" or the "offline nt password and registry editor" (look them up in yahoo.
It will let you create a bootable CD that will change the value of the admin password so you can start as admin and uninstall that old norton 95.
