I agree with wildbullride with an additional note that either way I still love Sugarland, I was one of the lucky ones I got to see them in concert last summer as a group

Technically, they're a duo (Kristian and Jennifer) with a back-up band. So I would say no, they're not a band, but rather a duo. Brooks and Dunn is also a duo with a back-up band, and I've never heard of them being called a group/band. Rascal Flatts is definitely a group/band. Hope that helps.

I wish I knew who they were. I keep getting free tickets from my job but keep giving them away.
