You cannot gain muscle without putting on any fat. If you increase your caloric intake...you will gain some fat..but you will gain more muscle. That is the reason why you probably have to switch to cardio routine after bulking up to get lean again.

10-15 pushups? I would say yes..you will gain some bulk around your shoulders, triceps, pectorals, biceps, and upper and middle back. But, in time you will need more resistance to break down your muscle fibers to gain more muscle. Try doing body weight squats as well.

I would suggest getting a bench and some dumbells...you can do many exercises to gain muscle with just those two. Or join a gym...where there are many free weight and machines to use.

Good luck.

You'll have to do more then just plain push-ups, as the guy before said you wouldn't give your time to heal and also you'd only be working a certain set of muscles which would only make one part of you big and maybe even force some of the supporting muscles needed for certain sports to underdevelop and cause more injuries.

To gain bulk, eat low fat high protein foods (chicken, fish etc) exercise roughly 3 times a week to stop over-training. If going to the gym do 3 sets of 10 reps on each piece of equipment, try and isolate your regime to working chest shoulders and triceps one day and back and biceps another (ask gym staff about this and relevant schemes). If at gym also try and use mainly 'free weights' as opposed to cable machines.

If working out at home try and vary what you do- press ups (with really wide hands for chest, really close together hands for triceps), sit ups, chin-ups etc can be as easy as finding a tree branch to pull yourself up on.

Try and do it slowly don't overwork too soon, and you'll definitely start seeing the results. try the mens health website its useful for that kind of stuff.

Bulking wont be done by press ups alone! you need a high protein intake like chicken, eggs etc. If you want to take bodybuilding supplements use either MAXIMUSCLE OR LA MUSCLE. They are by far the best makers. Creatine is very good for "bulking" gaining weight/muscle. Dont use plain creatine monohydrate use a mix, i.e maximuscle or la muscle products. failing that take the steroid naposim ! Repeated press ups will make your muscles tired and weak, vary the excercises and shock your body

you should only do as many as you can in one repetition to be able to do more, (a set of say 15 7 times) for instance my boyfriend can do 2 reps of 50 but not 1 set of 80 then another 80 because his muscles get tired and it stops him doing any more after a short break. He only does this once a day every other day because your muscles need time to heel to get bigger, protein also helps, like a tin of tuna on the day you don't do them should help speed up recovery thus making your muscles bigger faster, if you do to many any keep repeating them it won't do anything except hurt and take longer to recover meaning it will take longer to build muscle.

You would get stronger, but there are different muscles in your body and each of them need to be excercised in order to be really strong. Doing only one excercise is not enough if you want to be strong, but it will make you lose some fat.

no....to gain bulk, generate a program where you are lifting heavy one day a week with 3 to 4 other days focusing on endurance/stamina/reps.

And...hate to say..depends on your body type...some people are able to gain bulk easily...others have to use outside suppliments....ie Steroids.
