Lost Horizons directed by Frank Capra, classic sci-fi at its best.

They all tend to touch on anything and everything. SciFi should be more about mood pieces in worlds that are created to represent a projectable future. Hopefully realistic in that projection, but a grace note of optimism is also looked for.
