There should be a parade to usher our troops out of Iraq.
At the same time, there should be another one ushering our politicians (our ever-so-wise leaders) and all their families into Iraq to replace the troops. This way, they can keep an eye on 'our' interest in that country directly. George and Laura can be the grand marshals.
God bless.

Win the war. Anything less would dishonor the troops who've already paid the ultimate price for Iraqi freedom. I hate this war and wish it had never started. Didn't support it when it did start. But as a veteran of the first Gulf War, I support every one of our fair haired men and women who have gone to Iraq under difficult circumstances (not unlike their comrades in arms in the Vietnam War) and have served their country with honor, courage and distinction. The ONLY way for us to truly honor them is to win. Instead of pressuring the Bush Administration to bring them home, we should be pressuring them for a solid exit strategy that would liberate the Iraqi people while honoring the memory of the American troops who have paid in blood for that freedom.

The best way to get out of Iraq is to create public pressure on the politicians to do the right thing. They are too busy scratching each other's political backs to take action of fear of alienating their colleagues and therefore losing their support on other matters, So we need the public to take action. The only way that you'll bring the public to take action is by informing with the truth about the war. Here's a start: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-7371253996117324045&q=CIA

Wait for our generals to decide the time and safest way to remove the troops. A commitment has been made to the Iraqis that we will not leave until they can stand up and defend themselves. I believe this is the honorable thing for our country to do.

Achieve our objectives of a free, democratic and stable Iraq. That happens to be the ONLY way it will happen. Even your darling liberal heroes - Kerry, Clinton and Clinton - say that.

According to a Marine buddy of mine, "Turn us loose and let us do our job without being second guessed every day!".
He feels that their hands are being illogically tied in reference to how they are allowed to perform their duties, and with more options at their disposal, the current bogged down war would be far easier to manage and bring to a desirable conclusion.
