I always think my husband is checking other woman out. He is faithful, I am sure of that, and he is a very good man. We have a great sex life, and sometimes I think if it wasnt for this issue, we would have no problems. He says that he tries not to look anymore, but i feel like that answer makes it sound like its hard for him not to look. I find it disrespectful, and I feel like I look stupid if IM with him, and I notice him checking someone out. Am i overreacting?

So, here's where I'd be petty. Dress more attractively and look for any man who looks at you and make sure to smile. If he's fine with that then no reason for either of you to worry, if he thinks that's disrespectful, you can stop but now he knows how you feel. You can also appreciate the beauty of men, just as men appreciate the beauty of women. But if it's so obvious that he's looking then it is rude. But conversely if you're HUNTING every moment to see if his eye movies one milimeter to appreciate some beauty, then you're being CRAZY. Chill out, the world is a beautiful place, he's WITH you.

I don't think you are overreacting because if you are, so am I. It hurts, I know. I catch my boyfriend checking out other girls. I know he is faithful to me because we talk openly about it. I've given him many opportunities to get out of our relationship if he wasn't happy and he hasn't taken them. He knows that his happiness and my happiness are very important to me. I caught him checking out a really nice looking girl in a bikini at the beach the other day and I felt a pang of pain, but I let him know that I was aware that his attention wasn't on me by saying "wow, she's one thin good looking girl!" He knew right away he was busted. It was alright though because I was nice about it and it made me feel not so stupid. I guess the only thing that really matters is that at the end of the day he is with you because he chose you.

Looking is normal part of being a human, just because your married doesn't mean you or him is dead. As the old say is look but don't touch. Now if he is staring well that might be different but a glance your sweating the small stuff way to much.

It is a human instinct to look at the other sex. He probably doesn'y mean to disrespect you in any way but that what he means by he can't help but look. It also doesn't mean that he thinks the other girl he is looking is better looking then you. It is almost like a habit. You do it to but don't even realize you do.

You are overreacting, i encourage my man to look it's not like if he's touching. What will eventually happen is he'll start hiding from you & that will make matters worse. Get him to talk to you about it, keep an open mind, and remember ur the one he married, not them, learn to be his friend., good luck

Well men are men! It's just thier animal instincts. As a another woman I do not like it either. He is not going to stop looking I know from experience. Just look at guys! If he says something to you tell him that he looks at girls so you can look at guys!

yes you are. You should look at other men to make yourself feel better. I bet he will stop for you when he sees you checking out other men.
