Well, I have an answer but before I give it to you I need to tell you that I am bias. My name is Abigail (Abby) for short and I definately choose that name over Addison. Not that Addison is a bad name, I just prefer Abigail. :)

I love Addison, it is unique and a little more sporty sounding. I also like Abigail, it is more old-fashioned and a little more feminine...why not Abigail Addison, or Addison Abigail, using both?

my daughter's name is Madison
I also like Abigail, i have a little cousin named Abigail, abby for short!
Theres a town in NY named Addison, and to me, i think Addison sounds like it could be used for a boys name!

Abigail. I knew a girl named Abigail (she went by that, not abby). She was very sweet. Her little sister had down syndrome. She was sweet too. The whole family was nice.

Abigail for a girl. Addison for a boy. My daughter has a "trendy male-sounding" name and she hates it. wants to change it to something more feminine ...

I don't go with traditional, unique for me and of the two it has to be Addison...although I'd end up spelling it Adyson or Addysen...any way tho she will probably at some point get "Ad" or "Addy" :). It's really still all up to you tho
Best wishes
