I can't stand the current Parliament in Canada. I want to see the Liberal's back in. We need another Jean Chrétien or, even better, another Pierre Elliott Trudeau! I just can't stand the Conservatives and I want this minority government booted.

Uh, just so you know goododie4, Canada soes have a minority government!

Stephen Harper is the 22nd and current Prime Minister of Canada and leader of the Conservative Party of Canada. He became Prime Minister after leading the Conservatives to a ***minority government*** win in the December-January 2006 Federal Election.

You have to recognize that due to the recent vote of non-confidence as well as Conservative promise to bring more accountability to the Canadian Government we are definitely as an informed public going to keep our eyes and ears open to any scandal or misrepresentation of governance. Being aware of this I think the Conservatives are going to go out of their way to be squeaky clean. (even though they have recently been found to have some undocumented Campaign contributions).

Unfortunately I think we will have a full term with Harper. This isn't necessarily a bad thing however. The liberals need some time to reorganize and groom a new party leader.

In the mean time we can just be thankful that it is a minority government.

Actually, the present Government IS A MINORITY, In politics, MINORITY does NOT mean RACIST. It means that they do not have enough sitting members in the house, to pass a law, or bill without getting help from other parties Members. I, for one, have just about HAD ENOUGH of the Liberal Government, and I believe that the Conservatives are doing just fine,
GO HARPER GO.

If the majority of Canadians voted for him (as they did) it is the majority gov. Just because you want to preceive it as a minoriy, to validate your low self esteem and minority opinion - it doesn't make ithe gov a minority.
