Try to just sit back and decide what you enjoy doing. Do you have hobbies, or something that is important to you? Think about how you can incorporate your passions into some kind of job that won't leave you waiting for the end of your shift.

After you have an idea about what kind of job you want, determine what kind of education/training you would need to get the job.

Then you will know if you need to go to college.

Probel is that employers have it to easy... Having as many unemployed as possible is exactly what they want so they can pick and choose on the most pathetic basis, and pay loe wages and have the power.

It there was enough jobs to go around they would have to put up their wages and benefirts which would mean they would not be able to live the lives of luxury they do.

Plus they would have to train.

College is mostly worthless. You get taught rubbish you will never need in a job and never how it is in the real world...

For example whre in say a college bar management course do they tell you the best and realictic way to handle the local mafia so you and your bouncers don't get shot or the rediculous teacher advertisements where the kids are nice and well behaved...

What you need to do is research to see what jobs there is such a shortage of that emplyers need to pay properly and that candidates have the power.

Jobs where its based on what you know not office political skills. Ideally jobs that train you themselves ... ok come up with better then this but say the police and army have academies as do firemen for training or bus drivers. Where there is a guaranteed job if you pass the training.

If female Id suggest poledancing as that pays well and gets you fit . Girls were walking off with £800 a night and nice toned muscells so they did not need the gym.

Unfortunetley guys aint got it so easy.

So work out waht pays, whats in major demand (and also will still be by the end of your course) iderally something you can work for yourself or others so if you can't get a job you can make your own, and ideally something you can travel with, with recognised qualifications world wide

I guess it depends on your age. Even if you're younger than 65 (retirement) it's never to late to pick up a new carreer. You shouldn't be left off worse than when you started. Right? If you don't want to return to college for a full long term degree, then I would suggest going to a Junior college in your community and get a certificated degree. They're ususally short term like 6-18 months depending on what goal you have. Make an appointment with a guidance counselor at the college and let them know what you want and they should be able to discuss you're options. Good luck! Education is the key to success! And don't forget that you should look into a job that is marketable and well needed.

Sadly for you, it's time to grow up and face the world.

Don't you think most of us would just like to stay at home and not have to worry about things?

Either go back to college, or go and find a job, there are plenty around, you're obviously expecting to be head of something without putting in the work.

If you can afford to: take some 'timeout' (like a holiday): to chill out and reward yourself for all your study time: and to use constructively to decide what you want to do with the rest of your life!!

I will ask you a simple yes or no question!!

Do you want to work or don't you?

If you don't want to work, then stay at home sat on your butt, and waste all the money we/your parents paid for your education: & not to say your life!!

If you do want to work: then decide what you would wish to do, and then go for it!!

Everyone needs a 'Goal' in life, something to aim for!! If you aim for nothing..you will be guaranteed to hit it every time!!

At such a young age the world is your oyster:

There must be something out there that you would like to do, or to be!?

What is this?
How can I acheive this?
Is this Possible?
If so: How?

If this means that you need to go for further education/voctional studies etc, for you to achieve your goal: then that's what you will have to do!!

But at the end of the day, you will be what you want to be: and will have acheived your goal!!

if there's a course that you're interested in...go for it! Try thinking about vocational courses that will automatically lead you to a career. i.e. you could do a health related job like OT, pyhsiotherapy or you could do something manual like plumming/engineering...those kinds of jobs are always about for the taking! Good luck and by the way, you're not pointless.

education never hurt anyone. work doesn't have to be painful or tiring either. perhaps you could volunteer part time doing something you enjoy or work for a temp agency with short term placements so you don't get bored doing the same work all the time.

Holy cow! That didn't even make sense. Maybe that is the problem? Sounds to me as if you just don't WANT to work since you mentioned that you just really want to stay home TWICE.

I wouldn't give you a job, either. You can't spell or write, college or no college.

You should always go to college, it might sound very "mother-like" but why do you think they tell us that. So we don't become screw-ups.
