Only movie that I ever found scary was
The Shining
Zombies, Devils, Monsters, and all Bogey men are bogus, but insane people really do exist, and Jack Nicholson was absolutely insane in that film.

have you seen Strange Land ? it's not a horror but scary as hell because there are people like that for real....
what about the first Hellraiser...pretty gruesome...
13 Ghosts...also pretty good..
i think the older you get it's hard to be real scared of theses movies....i was a kid when nightmare on elm street came out,i found freddy pretty creepy, now when i see it a kinda crack up
