Then I just had a period 6/12 to 6/14. My hubby and I wanted to start trying so I went off my birth control mid April. Could I already be pregnant? About 3 weeks ago I took my last preg. test and it came up negative. So I stopped taking test. My hubby and I started trying again the past couple days because I believe that was my fertile window? Am I right or wrong?I really need answers. I've also been very tired lately I starting to think that the late little period I had a couple weeks ago may have just been spotting. Sine it was only about 2 in a half days? But is that normal to spot for for 2-3 days like that? Also my period was 5-6 days late? What is going on?

You could be, a lot of women still bleed when they're pregnant. Your best way of knowing is to get a blood test. That is the only truly accurate way. Good luck.

It could have been spotting or just a short period. The best time to
conceive is 14 days before your period is suppose to start. The day before and the day after that 14th day as well. Just to be safe.
Spotting is sometimes normal. But if you were pregnant your test would have been positive. Sometimes when you get off the pill your period goes crazy. Hope that helps.

I'm basing this answer on the assumption you were on the pill for some time before stopping. Therefore, the length of menses you describe in a common situation. This could possibly continue for another month or so but should return to a regular cycle in 8 weeks or so, I'd assume.

Contact your physician to ensure that all is well, although I'm sure that you can simply allow nature to takes its course and coneption will happen when you are least trying to make it happen.

Normally, when one gets busy in life or like us, you think you can never have children and prepare to adopt....conception happens. So don't obsess, check with your doctor and then just let life happen.

Good luck!

You need to talk with your doctor. Some women have spotting when they are pregnant and it can also happen when you go off the pill. I had spotting for about 6 weeks when I went off the pill. Call your doctor's office and let them know what's going on and that you are trying to get pregnant. If there is anything going on, they will want you to come in for a checkup. Good luck!

I stopped taking birth control pills the end of March after being on them for 10 years. I did ALOT of research and while it make take a few months for your cycle to regulate itself it is absolutely false that it can increase the chances of miscarriage. My OB/GYN actually recommended we try right away because your hormone levels will actually increase your chances of getting pregnant. My past two menstrual cycles have started May 11 and June 11 (almost exactly the same time as yours) and my predicted ovulation date was yesterday. www.fertilityfriend.com is a great website to use for forecasting ovulation and mestruation. Hope this helps.

You could go to the doctor. Going off Birth Control makes your body very irregular for quite some time. Everything sounds okay. But if you want to know for sure, the doctor can give you an idea what's been going on.

Talk to a gynocologist about that because he/she will know best. I think going off of the pill can mess with your system. I am not sure what to call the period you got on 6/12.

your period probably wasn't late it is probably trying to regulate itself. I would wait a couple more cycles before trying to conceive. some people that conceive to close to coming off of birth control have a bigger chance of having a miscarriage.

There is a 85% chance you are pregnant. The next step now is to see your doctor.
