Im currently 14yrs old working at a local computer store, My boss hasn’t paid me in around 23 days while I am supposed to be getting checks every 2 weeks (14 days). The place where I work is being transferred to a new owner in less then a week. Im wondering what I should to so I can secure my paycheck, but now since I refused to come to work for 3 days, and when I went back Monday (June 25th) to see if my check was ready, I was apparently not employed there anymore, and when I tried to contact my boss by calling her she would not answer the phone,I know she was availble when someone else tried calling her and she answered.
Right now, I am looking for any information I can have to guarantee my paycheck, but I was wondering if there was anyway I could report her as well, as she is here on a expired Visa and recently (December) got married in order to stay in the country.

Okay, for clearer infomation, I included the part that she's a Alien since I was curious if that will affect me anyway so I can get paid. And yes, I am allowed to work in my state Since My mom has given me permission and I am not currently violating any childlabor laws.

The situation is complicated. You need an adult to deal with an adult. So the best for you would be to find an parent, relative, friend who will speak up for you and on your behalf. Only then will you get the real attention you need and the paycheck you deserve. Otherwise, you are being taken advange of and it will continue as long as you let it happen to you.

There is pretty much nothing you can do about it given the fact that you are a minor and your boss is an "undocumented resident" i.e. "illegal alien"--however, I would check with the Fair Labor Board in the state where you live regarding employer/employee relations when it comes to the employee being a minor. I have a very important question: Do you have a legal work permit? Get your parents more involved and let them basically handle it for you, even if it might hurt your pride a little bit. I hope everything works out for. You are entitled to your money.

With the help of a parent or other trusted adult, contact your local Legal Aid office for advice. They might be able to provide additional direction or advocacy in your case.
About the immigration question, just let it go. I imagine you are upset about the situation, and asking for your well-earned pay is fair. Reporting someone for her legal status is revenge. This is childish and misdirects your energy in looking for a solution.

Contact the Labor Department Or Labor Comissioner in your state. You have the right to be paid within 72 hours of termination in every one of the 50 states.
As for the immigration thing, let it go, be the bigger person.

She may be violating federal labor laws by employing you as a minor. She should want to pay you so you do not report her.
