Morpheus paid, it's 2 bucks a month for unlimited legal downloads. Or iTunes. iTunes is good for when you only wana a couple songs.
Yahoo! has a pretty good selection too.

ITunes is good you can get a free download at www.apple.com and you can burn your own CDs there faster but the music isn't free sadly but you can get a couple of your favorite songs from your CDs and at it to the ITunes library or you can buy the songs there for 99 cents or an album. BTW try not to use lime wire or any other sites where you download music for free because it's not really safe and also you can get viruses!

Limewire actually isn't legal if the music was ever released onto CD. Allofmp3.com has tracks for 1 or 2 cents, and is totally legal. Plus, no DRM!
I should add, however, that if you like Weird Al, his new song (You're Pitiful) is available for free legal download on his website (weirdal.com).

My wife says Limewire is free but not legal unless you subscribe, not sure how much subscription is but I think you can get access for a dollar a month.

Limewire is illegal. iTunes or yahoo! music will work just fine. iTunes is better because the CD's burn faster.
