Why is it that when you're asked to think of a question, any question, your mind goes blank?

It may be something outside yourself. Did you know that you could suspend a lightbulb on a clothesline in the path of certain transmissions and it will light up completely, indefinitely?

The body, like a computer, works on the basis of minute electrical charges. It's also affected by sunspots and pressure drops. And don't believe that crud about tinitis. Ears don't produce sounds.

That happens to me, too. I am a very nervous person, and the doctor said it is due to my nervousness that I cannot stay focused when asked a question.

I sometimes even have difficulty remembering what I was going to say to someone in a conversation (that's why I prefer writing to speaking).

I think it's psycholoigcal. You're being prompted and any is a pretty broad question, so the mind is thrown off it's train.
