Only an order from the court can expunge a record. The problem today is that there is still a paper trail, police records and so forth that will remain anyway. Sometimes it is simply better to move on and leave the past in the past.

You want to expunge a criminal record from nearly a decade ago? Good luck. I doubt you're going to be able to do it. Expunging your record is very difficult. There's a reason that criminal records are public. We want this to affect your life. It's clearly affecting yours. Society has an interest in keeping these things public. We don't want you to repeat the offenses.

Anyway, the only way you are going to be able to do it is to find a qualified attorney. Go to www.martindale.com to find one in your area.

Good luck
