my files disapear..................?

every time i log of from my account in windows xp when i back all files in my desktop disapear , where r they?

dear friend i think your user is member of guess
this is the reason
guess profile is temporery
right click on you my computer icon and select manage
and chek your user and groups

Are you using the Save As function or just Save? Because you definitely need to be naming them under the Save as function in order to make sure they are there. BTW - Leonard Cohen is my fave too, great taste!!!
