means you are ruining the natural flow of things...maybe you are pushing too much or asking too many questions or just pressuring...you need to sit back, relax and let the relationship grow on its own

Um, hmm maybe the "killjoy" is the one keeping the relationship from running smoothly?? Either not letting the bonding go normally or hindering/speeding it up??

Your new relationship isn't going far if this is what your told at the start. Your killing the joy of bonding with your partner. It's a weird thing for someone to tell you, but that's what they mean.
