Yeah!!!!!!!
They are just trying to sell an image and make money.
No freiken Talent for music at ALL. I'd like to see Eminem or 50 cent pick up an instrument and be an Alexi Laiho or Kirk Hamett or Zach Wylde or Angus Young. These guys know their instruments and can play them with so many different styles.
All you have to be able to do is make a few rhymes, have someone come up with a beat, and you just made a million dollars.
I hate RAP! So untalented. They're lyrics have 3 themes to it. Drugs, money, and sex. That's it.

that is glaring you're trying to make the argument that rap would not require skills, and that i does no longer unavoidably disagree with you, yet no longer for the excuses you're wondering... no longer something has an intrinsic requirement of skills. enable's anticipate I truly do not have any skills; i might want to nonetheless write a set of random notes an a paper and make a contribution my off-song making a music and launch it as a music, and get in touch with it in spite of type of like it would have musical features of, yet that announces little or no about how a lot skills I truly have, merely that I truly have the flair to make such music. there is rap music with certain features that make it particularly puzzling to make a music with an same features that make it of such high quality, yet there is also rap music that all people can make. that is an same with the different type.

Rap is so uninspired these days. To the intrained listener, and with a couple of exceptions, it all sounds COMPLETELY THE SAME! And unless you were a crack dealer and/or a former pimp, you won't get anywhere in the rap industry.
That's why I like Kanye West, who doesn't brag about being shot or dealing drugs, and Lupe Fiasco, who says that kids should spend more time on math. Street cred is overrated.

Everyone is pretending to be a thug and cashing in. There is no talent in rap anymore.

Try Fun Lovin' Criminals, though. They're good and they rap.

It is not just you. Like any popular, money making genre, it keeps to that which it's fans want and dare not stray. Marketing, including image, is essential. Rap died when Run DMC lost their popularity.

I agree, rap used to be funny rhymes but it's really stupid now. Sadly blacks are taking over music and sports.
