I have a small car and two dogs and a cat and would take the car, or would tow it behind a rental truck if someone wanted me to drive it for them,and I could take some of my things with me.

look for u-drive it places or drive away rv services.some rv drive away services let you tow your car behind the rv you are delivering and you sleep in rv but NO potty-its a cool gig -good luck

Go to a Truck Stop and hitch a Ride with one of those smelly old truck drivers,..
