Absolutely,....I was getting real tired of Star Jones this, Star Jones that,....it's a panel show,....noit the Star Jones show. Her rantings about her and herself were getting real old. When I was in college, majoring in Radio, Television, and Film,....we were often reminded, no matter how big you get,....you can be replaced. Star, apparrently didn't remember that. Maybe she can go back to being a reporter on Court TV

What's so interesting about a show that has a bunch of miserable stupid harpies in a coffee klutch discussing anything under the sun?! All these aging has beens and never will bes talk in the guise of some long lasting friendship, but that's all phony. Away from the TV studio, they don't socialize with each other, and their not friends. I watched this program once, and I didn't see the point of it at all.
I have read in regards to the Star Jones firing, that executive producer Barbara Walters (or is it Baba Wawa - as she's known from an old Saturday Night Live skit) was somehow miffed that Star lost all that weight, that that didn't fit into the grand scheme of The View. I was never a fan of Star Jones, but the way ABC and Barbara Walters handled it was pretty lousy.
Other cast members I don't hold in very high regard. Joy Behar is loud and obnoxious, and that Elizabeth person is the worst of the bunch. The way she blathers on about being a devout Republican is quite nauseating.
So in a word, no I won't be watching The View, not that I was a fan of it anyway.

No! I think Elizabeth and Joy are pieces of furniture. Meredith was the smart one and Star was the Diva. Hate Star or lover her, she had a personality. Joy is too busy trying to be a comedian. And Elizabeth is too busy being the perfect little conservative, flag waving, I love America wife! Dump those two and have a show with Star, Rosie, Sandra Bernhard, and the Dixie Chicks. Now that would be a round table discussion group!

I had the unpleasant experience of seeing Star Jones coming out to the Ivy in LA in 2005. It was so strange, she had her hanger-ons and she did the kiss kiss then the wave to the crowd. People weren't really admiring her they we're just watching her show off. That's LA. What a farse. She got to big for her britches, shes no Oprah. Besides TV journalist shouldn't become celebrities. They are a bunch of hams. So no I won't watch a show of a bunch of self serving boring people talking about blight issues that are really not that important.

Have to work so I don't get to watch but wanted to comment that I really think that she has not been treated fairly. She seems like a really kind and passionate person and doesn't deserve what has happened to her.
