Yes. Beautiful state with lots of greenery, backwater and charming places of tourist interest.

For the convenience of everyone, like one answer above me, Kerala is a southern State of India, the state facing the Arabian sea.

Um...yes, regrettably. I've been there many times against my will. My parents drag me u know...they feel it's gods country too, but I feel it's a god forsaken country...aka...hellhole. It's a beutiful country...if ur into nature. It's so green, and the creatures come to say hello through the vents....the cows know I eat their brothers, so they give me a mean look. The food is out of this world...it cleans my colon, but it's awesome! I mean, i eat it knowing I'll regret that act an hour later! But then there's the people. I guess it's like everywhere, there are only a few nice people in every part of the world. But when I come over, all people want to know is when I'm getting married so THEY could par-take in my nuptuals, and when I tell them I want to marry for love, they tell me how wrong that is, and how mommy and daddy should pick out a man for me, and that is the right way to go. then I tell them if that's the case I shall remain single. OH, ur gonna become a nun? They ask? No. just single. they don't like that idea either. These questions come up when I visit people my parents know(all my relatives are in the US), and some automatically assume I have a bf just because I don't want to marry a guy from Kerala. why marry a guy from ur own culture, when u can marry one from our judgemental one? I'm disabled too, so they make fun of that, I'm not Indianized, they make fun of that, I'm a fat as they see it, they make fun of that, i'm ill coordinated and can't see well, they make fun of that, I speak American english fluently. Not only do they make fun of that, they tell me it's not British english, so it's wrong...then they tell me to slow down so they could learn some, then they repremand me because I don't speak malayalam, and when I do, they're either amazed(cuz us americans don't no none,) or they ridicule it because it's not authentic. What gives? I HATE Kerala!!!!!!! Even if I did marry a guy from there, I'd never go, so there would be problems in our marriage, and I'd probably just tell him to take his greencard and take a hike. Besides, the only guy who'd marry me is one who's only prayer is to get a greencard...mommy said so. But there are legitimate poor in the state, and I do feel for them, because they don't ridicule...usually. Oh, and it's really hot! I've got to take two showers just to feel clean! I'll end my rant for now.
