YES...and let's not stop there...Figo should be suspended because a head butt is a red cardable offense (stupid ref just didn't see it so he couldn't justify it). Moreover, the Dutch should have been awarded a penalty shot in the game for the drop kick that their striker received in the box, but that was over-looked. All of you Portugal supporters should be thanking your lucky stars that Portugal is moving on with just two suspensions...oh and about Deco, FIFA told Portugal not to bother with the appeal because they won't do anything (probably because they are letting Figo get away with a dirty play) and somebody keep that cry-baby CRYNOLDO on the bench with his injury, the poor baby couldn't stop crying when he was taken out of the game...Hopefully England makes Portugal eat the ball Saturday to end the run of the luckiest team in the World Cup.

If Figo were to be banned from the World Cup, then Netherlands ought to be banned from the next 10 World Cups!
Their players gave a perfect demonstration of "Unfair Play" and what a demo it was. That Khalid guy he must have been trained amongst the Dutch Military or something as he seemed to be more interested in meeting flesh with his shoes than the ball.
I was never a fan of Dutch football, much less their culture...now I guess I despise their whole approach towards sports and other walks of life.

No way. Portugal needs Figo. Plus Scolari is already working with "fifa" on getting Deco to play during the England Vs. Portugal match (Deco who was given a yellow card for making an attempt at re-claiming the ball from Holland since the ref said it was Portugal's ball and his second yellow card for time-wasting.)
*side note *
Portugal is definatly beating England, We did in the Euro two years ago and we will do it again. Forca Portugal!

yes all the way , man
that was a good nasty headbutt and if van bommel would have fell down and rolled as he did in the match against Serbia And Montenegro , then surely figo would have got a red card and Holland would ahve got the chance to win
seriously , if u dont believe this watch the clip of van bommel rolling on the ground after he was fouled by a Serbia and montenegro player.

No way. What was worse the light head butt or the delayed flop acting routine for the ref. The game would not have gotten out of control if the first card of the foul on C. Ronaldo had been a red the way it should have. Holland saw they couldn't beat them playing soccer so they figured they can force them to play dirty and maybe get a gift form the ref,

I don't think his presence in the match will matter. England should win. Anyway there was a lot of foul play in the Netherlands-Portugal match, Portugal is already being penalized enough by the two red cards.

I agree with triniwarrior24 , the dutch were very aggressive , and besides the referee was unfair and unreasonable giving everyone (including the goalkeeper?!!!) a yellow card! It's a right choice that he got kicked out

You brits make me laugh. you know you can't beat us by playing football, so you are trying to create a myth about Portuguese players to pressure the ref. Mark my words: We will win the game, even if we end with 8 players on the pitch.
