besides flowers, what is nice to put on my kitchen table? i don't have anything on there right now and looking for something decorative.

It all depends on how much you want to spend. You could go the free route, and pick leaves off your trees and put them in a vase (with stems of course). You could also get a bowl and get pinecones from your yard if you have pine trees. You could also get a basket and put fruit in it, then people could also eat the fruit. I think a nice centerpiece could be any fruit in a large clear glass bowl or vase. For example, lemons look nice and make a great summer centerpiece.

A bowl of fruit or a bowl of lemons look nice as a centerpiece. For a more entertaining centerpiece one of those vase fishbowls w/ the plant on top (and a gold fish or betta).

Put something with crystal in it.I have got a crystal piece in the shape of two hands(palms).Also scented candles are a good option.Something with rosewood looks great too.

a bowl with fruit, and it doesn't have to be real, I found decorative fruits in the craft section at Wal-Mart. you could use candles too.

go with lemons in a bowl, then after a couple days, you can make lemonade...no waste
