I have a hard time finding pants that i don't need tailored, even petite sizes. any brands of pants that make good short sizes that aren't redicliously expensive and look good?

You know what, i deal with the same problem. I'm 5'2" and never manage to find nice, short, pants that will fit without having them tailored. Forever 21 jeans are good but the "short" ones are never really short enough. I tend to go to ROSS for clothes cause they carry unknown brands that fit me really good. It's just my lucky day when I find that perfect pair of pants at ROSS. If I want dressy pants i always go to EXPRESS cause they carry really nice clothes for short, average,and tall women and they always have some kind of sale going on. I love that store. Good luck!

I'm 5 feet....shorter than nearly all the people that responded...
I find that jeans from Tilt at Pac Sun fit well...the size 00 Short fit me perfectly...they're still a bit long, but that's what high heels are for! They run about $20-$25 a pair...pretty cheap.
In Asia, I can find tons of pants that fit me...although a first class plane ticket alone can cost around $10,000...so that may be a bit expensive.
I just suggest getting pants tailored...that's what I do.

LOL.. I am 26 and I am 4' 10. Pants are a pain in the a$$ when your short... I have to have them tailored all the time...

I have the same problem, but the best brand for petite shorts is usually levi's or Ymi's which are under $20 dollars if you find them at the right places

Hit the sales at quality stores that have petite departments. I have good luck with finding nice clothes for less but you have to have time to look through everything.

im 5'2 short and proud of it but yeah im always having problem with pants but at last i do find my size or somehow manage to fix it myself
