I feel all people are born good. They have to be taught to show prejudice. No one hates just for the sake of hating. I have a Utopian view of how good the world should be. There is no reason that the world can't live in peace and Harmony. Well maybe there is, perhaps: governments, greed, and fear of the unknown.
Who ever you are, where ever you live, whatever color your skin, you are loved!

It's not natural...two toddlers of different races play together without showing any prejudice...the sad fact is that most people consider a certain color/nationality "all the same". If Muslims got onto an airplane I was on, I would probably consider if I should be scared or not, I wouldn't want to think bad of anyone, but I just would.

I believed we are all "prejudice" in some respect. As human being, we judge people based on religion, nationality and of course the color of their skin. However, this doesn't mean we are bad. It simply means we are human. The cases where it is bad is when someone takes it to the extreme and base all their views on stereotype. It is best to recognize we all tend to judge others based on races. By recognizing this, we can better control our views.

I don't know if its so much natural, but the way people are raised. If you are raised by bigots, you will probably be one. Aside from that, many people seem to be frightened or insecure about anything different than whats normal for them. Honestly, I try not to judge people by their skin color or nationality. I judge them by their words and actions.

We are conditioned to be prejudiced by our family and culture. Having grown up in the 60's and 70's I was most influenced by family attitudes and the media. I grew up seeing more race riots on TV then anything else. I believe that a person can change being prejudiced by expanding their horizons, getting to know people outside their culture and being aware of their feelings of prejudice when they arise and remember what the feelings are based on.

Absolutely not. Prejudice is learned; no child is born with prejudice, unfortunately they learn it from those around them. One can only hope that with time, we as a society can open our minds and wipe out this epidemic.

It depends on the person. To some, they have such a low self esteem that they must in some way take down others to build them self up. Also, it has to do with how they were brought up. I judge by action, not appearance.

It affects everyone's judgement.

One thing is that htere is alot of hatred that is in each of our hearts and two is the unknowing or the unwillingness to open our minds and respect and learn about other people and other cultures.
