Aruba---Desert environment, --Avg daytime temp is 82 and the winter and summer temp only differ by 3.6 degrees. There is always a trade wind of 15 to 20 mph so it does not feel so hot and the humidity is very low. Less than 20 inches of rain per year. I have been there several times and it is perfect. Crime is very low and no poverty. It is unfortunate case about Natalie Hollowell but Aruba is very safe and has a much lower crime rate than all the other islands and the United States.

The northern part of Chile in South America. The Atacama desert is the driest desert in the world, but it is not so hot in the summer time, and not so cold in the winter time. The Chileans are very friendly, they have good water, great coastline, great sea food, beautiful mountains and one of the best wines of the world...

Hemet, Riverside, San Bernadino all in CA. Parts of Arizona are mild in summer and winter. Prescott, AZ is a great little town near The Grand Canyon. I loved it there. Don't go to Nevada...too hot.

Buuterlips, South Carolina's line is Beautiful places, smiling faces, and it is not even close to desert...I myself have visited Tucson, AZ. It is pretty nice there. It gets hot but it is dry heat, so it doesn't feel as bad as the temperature reads.

I would suggest Australia. The desert is hot but cool in the evenings. Only problem is it is desolate.

if you favor hot weather more, head to las vegas, NV. if you favor cold weather more, head to reno, NV. otherwise, albuquerque NM. however, there is no such place in the desert with mild climate.

Tucson, AZ. It can get mighty hot in the summer, but I don't think it's as hot as Phoenix. Winters there are mild.
