Actually there is more grey, in the area of concrete sidewalks,patios and streets. There is a reasonable concern in the roof colors, many of them shades of black-grey and even dark brown, which adsorb heat and upset the temperature balance. Asphalt streets, asphalt tar rooves, even dark metal; they make local climate changes, and over all, even if you don't need a cool roof, what are you doing about the environment?
If each roof is only a millionth percent, still there are millions of rooves, and the cumulative effect is serious.

If black & white you refer to people then it is caucasian, next is african american then followed by hispanic. By the year 2014 the hispanic population is expected to pass the african americans in numbers in USA.

The white race is slowly breeding itself out of existance. So many are marrying blacks, hispanics, chinese, Indians, and all other races. I think there are more mixed race now. Not black or white.
