Oh my dear lord. You are in for a rude awakening. Divorce is almost never cheap and it is almost never fast. It is a horrific experience to go through and I'm sorry that you're going through it.
That having been said, the best way to do things is if you and your soon to be ex-spouse work together. If there are no major conflicts and no major disputes over property or children, then you can get an attorney or paralegal to draft the necessary settlement documents.

A EASY DIVORCE IS WHEN YOU GET A ANNULMENT..OR WHEN YOU HAVE NO CHILDREN ...YOU CAN LOOK FOR A AGENCY THAT WORKS ON YOUR PAPER WORK FOR YOU AND ALL YOU DO IS GO TO COURT ON THE DATE THEY GIVE YOU OR BE IN A AGREEMENT WITH THE OTHER PARTY..THE AGENCY IN CALIFORNIA ARE CALL WE THE PEOPLE OR KERN DIVORCE THEY DO IN PRO PER PAPER WORK CALL ASK IF THEY HAVE A AGENCY NEAR YOU.. REMEMBER IF IT IS NOT ON PAPER IT IS NO GOOD..TAKE YOU TIME DO IT RIGHT SOME OF THE AGENCY TAKE PAYMENTS GOOD LUCK

File it yourself. Most local libraries have the forms you can copy and take to the court to be filed. If it isn't contested it will be over in 30 days.
