Yes, and No! Everything you experience is the result of your beliefs. The universe is a mirror or a reflection of what you hold in your mind. So if you want to know what you have been thinking about, just look around. You can use what is outside of you to discover what is going on in inside of you. The real question is, " How did the mind get the power of creation?" The universe and everything in it is GOD! The God in you is the same God that created the Heavens and the Earth. You are that creative power. Use it well! Blessings and joy!

It is the creation of A mind. Actually, it is the creation of THE mind which is called for this reason ¨the source¨.
In the sense of perception it is the creation oy YOUR concepts, but even if you were not here everything would still exist ergo the creation trascends the mind of all humans.

How could everything in the universe be a creation of the mind?
How can a mind create something that it has no concept of?
For instance, if the mind had no concept of quantum physics, or mathmatical algorithms, how could it create them?
How could the mind create a language it had never heard or a group of people it had never seen?
How can the mind create something out of nothing?

I believe everything we see and know of the universe is false and the universe though not a creation of the mind is an illusion, to see past this illusion is to see past time , space and location, and we have not yet developed the skills.

We already know that all are just based on estimates when we talk about the universe. Yes we have the Hubble which sends back images of space and the universe but how sure are we that the measurements that the so called scientist tells us it is. Are we just believeing them because we think that they have the given talents to pronounce there particular findings. Then maybe it is just the product of their minds concretized by our believf that the universe does exist...

Parts of the Universe do exist and operate independently of our minds and we learn this whenever we "discover" new phenomena. So the answer to your question (which is typical of pure idealists or immaterialists) is a definite no. TWH 06282006

If so, where did the mind come from? Is it its own creation? How would that be possible?

Right, keep reading that spiritualism crap.
And the next time you fall down, recall that sudden stop against a hard surface of real mass, and tell us that didn't hurt like hell.
