I prefer simplicity over complexity.. if we can keep everything in life simple..then life will be easier and less complicated.. then we will have more time enjoying the simple things around us.

I often wondered about that as well.
Sometimes, I think about all the things I think about, and I tell myself it would just be easier if I were not thinking of them, if I were to just hold on to the basics, to grasp the essence, to trust in things actually being simple.
Most of the times, they are simple. Most situations do not require a high IQ or some grand way of thinking, and if you are one of the people put in those situations it´s OK.
But the ones who are complicated, will see a million things more. One might read a book, read just letters, while another reads an idea. Complexity takes your life up a notch, and it is never shown or bestowed upon undeserving ones, life is not unjust in this department, no matter what we say. Sure, we might want to be simple, but think of it this way: complexity can always turn back to being simple, simplicity though will take a lot of hard work to be complex.

Complex systems tend to degenerate to simpler ones. Over-complexity is surely not desired, and in my opinion could be considered far worse than over-simplicity. I would almost always side with the simpler theory against unnecessary complexity. Simplicity is far more practical than complexity if that's the only difference between two things. Occam's razor forever!

It depends on the context. If you're a scientist or physicist or engineer, simplicity simply won't cut it. Things are generally more complex than they seem.

More desireable? Wouldn't it be grand if everything were simple? We could all be rich, wouldn't have to go to school, and everything would be simply marvelous. What we desire is often a fantasy in Wonderland.

Many people have made fortunes, reducing the complex to simplicity, like the series of books, "XXX for Dummies."

Have you ever heard of the acronym "KISS?"
Keep It Simple Stupid.

Simplicity can be determined by the complexities the world has offered us....

Who will know that we are simple when we don't know how complexity is.

Simplicity is there because of complexity.

So therefore... they are of the same level....

Something is only complex until it is understood. Then it appears to be simple.

In terms of opinion both should go hand in hand.

The world would be a headache if it were too complex and it would be too boring if it were simple.

Life comes in many flavors.

Its not a crime to like both chocolate and vanilla.

Simple is fundamental, simple is beautiful and so simplicity is always desirable.
