i just saw superman last night(midnight screening) and i thought it was awesome. if u saw it what did u think?

yup! i saw it too last night...it was totally cool, superman and lois did have a son. i like the story though the ending still lacks something...
when will lois know that clark kent is superman...

I just saw it. I thought is was really good. Kevin Spacey played a ruthless Lex Luthur like in the comic books insted of the silly one played by Gene Hackman. I liked Margot Kidder as Lois Lane better than Kate Bosworth, but she was fair.
Brandon Routh played an excellant Superman, and he was easy on the eyes to look at. He's eye candy. Yum!

OMG! That movie was so freaking cool. I am like a huge superman fan. Even though people sometimes really dislike him. I think he was the best. And also i think that Brandon Routh did good as playing the superman in this movie. Also cause he is good looking.

1. to much CGI: sometimes like playing a game (or maybe that was their purpose indeed).
2. brandon did make the movie special in that he held his ground very well, and that he understood the role in a visceral way.
3. kevin spacey - who although remains a perenially outstanding actor - puts his career on hold for this role. he is a nondescript villain. if i were superman, i'd have too much time on my hands to even get threatened with his antics.
4. yes, the movie had a void right in the middle of its very well-thought and well-intentioned story & screenplay. it lacked, or it cannot recreate some of the magic of the originals. i almost fell asleep during many scenes. i could almost feel brandon's/clark's/jor-el's impatience for director bryan singer to cue in the well-planned action sequences & climax.
5. kate bosworth, frank langella and parker posey were likewise under-utilized.
6. what was the opening sequence all about. couldn't there have been a more pathetic foe for superman than this version of lex luthor. filching from a dying widow? i was expecting a "goldmember" sort of evil foe in the succeeding scenes. wasn't lex luthor supposedly have been an intellectual?
7. couldn't lois lane have been more romantic? she was unromantic to her husband? also to (super)man? god, even to her career! what happened, is this supposed to be the woman of the 21st century? duh!
8. would you really feel bitter if you've been blessed with a love-child from superman? wouldn't you have asked for a baby girl next?
9. why must superman arrive back and still manage to crash?
10. despite it all, I STILL LOVE BRANDON ROUTH. he proved everyone WRONG. YOU ROCK BRANDON ROUTH!!!

Lois Lane is Superman's babies momma?!?!?!?! I remember in Superman 2 that they got busy but Dang.
Was this plot in the comic book series.

By the by, Brandon is YUMMMMYYYYY, and it was an entertaining movie.

I has several geek-gasms when I saw Superman today. Brian Singer is the best... he gets it! No spoilers for those who haven't seen it yet!

I've seen it last night with my little sister. I agree with you, it was awesome. It's a near perfect movie. It's definitely the movie to beat this year.
