Every once in a while I have an icon that pops up at the bottom right hand side of my screen. There is a - (minus sign) through it. When I move the mouse over it, it says the words "privacy report". What is this? Sounds scary to me.

I said it once... I'll say it again... It means Explorer blocked something on that website (a popup, phishing program, etc) you can double click it to see more details on what is going on.

Internet Explorer blocked something on that website a popup, download, spyware, spammer, virus, something that MAY NOT be safe) . If you double click on it, it will tell you why it came up.

noithing to worry about (if you're talking about internet browsing). It's just the security of the page you're on, -but it's not that accurate-
