Boston, MA fireworks show is the very best. Almost 2 hours long with the Blue Angels fly-by and the Boston Philharmonic in sync with the fireworks.

Summer 1996

I would have to say my favorite memories are from my childhood. We used to go to a friend of my parents house. There were porbably eight children or so and about 10 adults. They had a pond and trampoline. We would cook out, watch the fireworks and have our own fireworks show. I spent the whole day swimming, eating, and having fun.

I was brought up on a lake not far from here, and this one 4th of July all of my far-away cousins came up to Maine to visit for the holiday. One of them had some fireworks. I also had a cousin who liked to fish. Well, while the one was in the boat fishing the other one set off the fireworks, going right up over his head on the lake. I wish I coulda been in that boat. He said the view of the fireworks was the best on the lake. I never laughed so hard in my life, hes out there with the fishing pole trying to catch fish while all these fireworks are going off over his head. Needless to say, he never caught a fish. LOL

About ae 4 or 5: We had family picnics back then full of games and food and fun. I remember being so tired I fell asleep in the car on the way home and woke up for a second while my mom was giving me a bath. I remember the look on my mom's face when I woke up. She was smiling cause I was so cute.

When I was younger, the whole family would get together at my great-aunt's house. She would have been close to 70 at the time, but was out there with us kids, lighting firecrackers. She was lighting them in her hand & throwing them! Of course, our dads wouldn't let any of us do that! :D
