We are heading into one now. Soon the baby boomers will all be in retirement and this will increase medical cost and tax the system. Also their spending will decrease since only 40 percent have enough to retire comfortably. At the same time social security and medicare will go bankrupt or payments will have to be cut and taxes raised. People today are trading well paying jobs for lower income jobs and the cost of college is skyrocketing.

Maybe not a depression, but a very serious recession once a Democrat is elected into office and taxes go through the roof.

i believe that we will have another depression. even though we may be diffrent in some things we are still the same. have you ever noticed that we as people, as a nation and as a world have repeated ourselfs in many ways.

I dont know if this applies, but there is no middle class anymore... only the rich and the struggling or just getting by
