This is strange!
How come you managed to log into your Yahoo Answers account to post this question, but can't log in to your Email account?
I did have that problem once! No matter what I did ( I must have sent 20 emails to Yahoo ppl from the alternate account) I was not able to login to Yahoo messenger, but could check my mail, Discuss on News message boards etc. Like! Other ppl used the same bit of software on the same comp. and were able to chat away in peace, but I always failed to log in.
Then 1 day, suddenly the problem disappeared, And I came back, and backwith a bang!

Enter your Yahoo ID and your password

you have to type www.mail.yahoo.com on your adress bar and then hit enter. the page will automatically ask you for your yahoo id and password, and you are set!!!

there's a thing on yahoo's old homepage that says "check your e-mail status" then you just have to sign in then go to your e-mail and it's all done!

go to mail.yahoo.com - Sign in and then you will see your mail.

go to www.mail.yahoo.com enter your email id in the place of username and password which i know is all ***********..................;-)
