Yesterday we narrowed it down to Rowan and Eilah for a girl and Gavin and Lennon for a boy but we found a few others that we like as well and we'd like some opinions on them. Let us know what you think of these names or if we should stick with the ones we've already picked out. Thanks a bunch especially to those who helped yesterday!

Genevieve is beautiful! Dominic is nice, too. That's what my sister in law was going to name her son until he was born. Then they decided on Trevor. I like Dominic better. :)

Am a total fan of "Genevieve". It's a name that never gets old and always sounds beautiful. As a manager who hires people and has to deal with the "made up" names that no one can spell or pronounce, I can't tell you how wonderful it is to have a solid, easy name like this. People used to try to be unique by coming up with something "new". Now you're unique by using something "old".
Another thing to keep in mind is how people will shorten names over time and the cruel nicknames kids will make from some names. Tierney sounds like a crybaby and Hagen sounds a lot like Hagrid, who is a big ugly giant. Rio and Ishmael sound very ethnic. Leo may be called a lion, which can turn into "liar" if they catch him fibbing. Dominic is a solid name that sounds studly and Marishka and Genevieve sound very exotic.

Its very hard to tell without knowing the last name, but on face value, I love Mariska for a girl - it's got a beautiful sound! Dominic is ok for a boy, but I like Gavin and Lennon better.
