The funny thing is we are most threated by people who are not on our borders but we are putting tons of money into making sure our borders are secure. But we will let the Middle easterners fly in and out of our country. Oh wait I forgot the leader of our countries is friends with the terrorist, they all make money together. I am sure he also has plenty of hispanics working on his ranch in Texas, because they are the only ones willing to work in our country for the crappy wages they offer. So are we securing the border for our countries protection? Why when was the last time Canada or Mexico bombed the USA? Lets Keep all the people not connected to our country out and let them in FREELY and maybe this will be a better country!

I believe that the United States realizes how EASY it is to enter the country through the mexican border and they are concerned with the fact that maybe terrorists will enter the country through the mexican border. If illegal aliens from Mexico were such a problem, they would have done something about it a LONG time ago. Being from a southern state, myself, I've noticed the influx of latinos for over 10 years now. There's No way that the MAIN problem is the amount of illegal aliens. To tell teh truth, if the Mexicans became legal that would mean there would be more tax payers; which would improve the economy. Not destroy it. So, what I'm saying is that the United States is securing our border to reduce a chance that terrorists will use Mexico to get to us.

Mexico's Government we all know as serious problems and we are allowing people into our country and some cause problems some dont but it isn't just the illegals it is the legal ones aswell so since Mexico cant watch the border due to the warlords and various other corrupt people not securing it ourselves is allowing people to get into our country and cause trouble and not only Mexicans were being deported anyways it was ALL illegal immigrants and most of them are being given time to become a citizen. so our president who is a good man is making sure we are a secure nation it is out of our own stupidity not our president's that 9/11 happened we knew it would but the right people didn't do anything i mean look at the governor of Louisiana she is the reason why nothing happened to help and to prevent that as best as they could so its people like her that mess things up....
o and if i have to pay taxes by damn they should aswell!

Well i live in Arizona and it is real bad here.
First, they weren't securing the borders because the immergrants were working and paying taxes to the government out of their checks and because they don't do taxes at end of year it was free money to the government.

Now, the government is so in debt with the war and all. the immergrants don't go to war and all we can do is send them back the the country has become in major debt. so all those immergrants are getting on wellfare which is spending government money. And the government wants there money. so they get more by kicking them out. Any government money spent on immergrants are now back to the government

Also, more jobs open up and higher wages makes more taxes taken out equals more money for government. so it all works out

It's election time...gotta get the folks riled up so they can be divided and conquered (manipulated). Another reason might be the fact that there are going to be lots of Americans attempting to flee this country to avoid participating in the Middle East Conflagration, or being inocculated by force with "anti-virals" that are more toxic than the "disease" itself .

It's politically popular. The anti-illegals group is happy. The Homeland Security fans are happy. It's a popular topic so the media keeps stirring it up.

I think the real reason is because we are becoming overpopulated and things have been much harder for every one now. For example traffic and schools. Securing our border would allow us to be less crowded.

It's all part of the original idea. The government wants to control more of what's going on here. It's all done behind the scenes. And also the fact that immigrants are taking all of the jobs here.

First it was Bush's War on Drugs, next its Bush's War in the Middle East. Now, its Bush's War on Illegal Immigrants. Surely I am not the only person that notices Bush is the proverbial war monger? Lets add his unspoken war on the poor, sick and disabled. Thank you, all you morally upstanding voters that keep us subject to his oh-so-upstanding morals. Thou shalt not kill, unless your Bush! Oh, and all those jobs that wonderful Americans are loosing...what a joke...even our teenagers think they are too good for the jobs that immigrants take. Don't make me laugh with that "they're stealing our jobs" BS unless your out in the 120 degree sun picking some fruit yourself. Mexican businessmen in suits aren't jumping those fences folks.
